By Road:

• Jinja, the adventure capital of Uganda, is the gateway to Itanda Falls.
• Take a bus, taxi, or private car from Kampala to Jinja (approximately 80 kilometers).
• The journey takes about two hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.
• From Jinja, you have two options to get to Itanda Falls:
• Taxi or Boda-Boda: Head to Budondo, the nearest town to the falls.

By Road:

• From Itanda Falls, head back to Jinja, which is approximately 80 kilometers away.
• From Jinja, take a bus, taxi, or private car to Tororo (about 2 hours’ drive).
• Tororo Rock is a majestic backdrop to the town, and you can enjoy hiking there.

FROM TORORO ROCK TO MOUNT ELGON NATIONAL PARK, UGANDA

By Road:

• First, head back to Jinja, which is approximately 80 kilometers away from Tororo.
• From Jinja, take a bus, taxi, or private car to Mbale, the largest town near the park.
• The journey takes about 4-5 hours, passing through towns like Iganga.
• Once in Mbale, navigate dirt roads to the various trailheads within Mount Elgon National Park.
