Uganda Airlines, the national flag carrier of Uganda, launched flights between Entebbe and Abuja on September 12.
Uganda Airline made its inaugural flight to Abuja, Nigeria’s capital building on its existing service to Lagos, the country’s commercial hub. – Airline now flies to 14 destinations in Africa, Asia.
The Airlines has announced an initial flights operate on Thursdays and Sundays, with plans to increase frequency in the future based on demand.

For the Abuja route, Uganda Airlines is using an A330 Airbus.
According to a televised interview aired on NBS Television – A local Uganda TV Station based in Kampala, Mr. Adedayo Olawuyi, Uganda Airlines C.C.O announced that travellers will be able to fly directly to Abuja in Nigeria, Lusaka in Zambia, and Harare in Zimbabwe starting this September.
Uganda Airlines was established to promote Ugandan tourism abroad. Tourists can fly directly into the East African country, and the national airline also partner with various tourism organizations, to promote travel and trade.
