Celebrating Unity – Ateker Reunion Festival 2024 hosted in Soroti Town, Uganda

The Ateker Reunion Festival, held in city of Soroti, Eastern Uganda, is a vibrant celebration that brings together the Ateker communities from across East Africa. The festival unites various Ateker communities, including the Iteso, Karamojong, Turkana, Nyangatom, and Toposa, among others. These communities, spread across Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, South Sudan, and Tanzania, share a common ancestry and cultural heritage.
