Cancellation / Prepayment

The charges below only apply to 100% advance payment on accommodation. If you only paid the required 1 night deposit, this won’t be refunded.
- 25% if cancelled four days in advance.
- 50% if cancelled two or three days in advance.
- 50% if few of the total booked rooms are cancelled.
- 100% if cancelled one day prior to booking or on the same day.
CANCELLATION POLICY
• Cancellation fees are levied when guests cancel confirmed reservations. The costs of the cancellation fees will escalate the closer the guest/s cancels to their confirmed departure date.
• Should a cancellation be made more than 8 weeks prior to departure, the non-refundable deposit of 20% is forfeited.
• Should a cancellation be made between 4 & 8 weeks prior to departure - 50% cancellation fees apply.
• Should a guest cancel less than 4 weeks or 31 days prior to departure - 100% cancellation fees apply.
In case of any cancellation the tax (VAT) of 18% on the advance will have to be retained as it is to be paid by us to the authorities by the 15th of the next month.
Note:
Any postponement of the booking will be treated as a cancellation and will be governed by the Cancellation Policy.
- Refunds only through cheque for bookings made by cash/cheque/bank transfer.
- Online refunds for bookings made through the online payment system usually take 3-5 working days.
In case of LPO payment is expected within 30 days after which 5% interest applies per week.

Once a reservation is confirmed, please notify us by call or email of any cancellation or modification of the booking at least 3 days (72 hours) before arrival for FIT bookings (free independent travellers) and 2 weeks before arrival for Group bookings in order to avoid a charge of 1 night’s stay to be imposed.

Children of all ages are welcome at Isunga Lodge Fort Portal, Uganda.
Check-In and Check-Out:
Isunga Lodge Fort Portal, guests can check-in from 02:00 PM, allowing plenty of time to settle in and start exploring all that Fort Portal has to offer.
The check-out time is until 10:00 AM, giving guests ample time to enjoy a leisurely breakfast or wrap up any last-minute activities before departing.
Child Policy: Please note that Isunga Lodge Fort Portal does not allow children to stay free of charge. Extra charges may apply for children staying at the hotel.
The hotel management is committed to ensuring a peaceful and relaxing environment for all guests, and additional charges may be necessary to accommodate children.
If the room is available, normal tariff will be charged. On failure of the guest to vacate the room on expiry or period the management shall have the right to remove the guest and his/her belongings from the room occupied by the Guest.

Children are welcome at Isunga Lodge Fort Portal subject to availability of child-friendly rooms and equipment.
Selected rooms can accommodate 1 -2 children (0-12yrs) sharing with parents.

- Infants 0-6 year stay free when sharing with adults.
