5 Days Kibale, Queen Elizabeth & Lake Mburo National Parks Tour | Uganda Safari
This 5-day Uganda safari offers a rewarding journey through three of the country’s most remarkable national parks;
Kibale Forest National Park, one of Uganda's premier wildlife destinations, often called the "Primate Capital of the World" due to its exceptional primate diversity and density.
Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most visited and diverse wildlife destinations, located in the western part of the country along the Rift Valley.
This tourist attraction is known for its wide range of ecosystems, including open savannah, wetlands, forests, crater lakes, and the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to a variety of wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, antelopes, hippos, and Nile crocodiles, as well as over 600 bird species, making it a key destination for birdwatching.
The Ishasha sector is particularly famous for its tree-climbing lions, while the Kazinga Channel boat cruise offers close-up views of aquatic wildlife and birds.
Lake Mburo National Park, a compact yet diverse wildlife park located in western Uganda, close to the Kampala-Mbarara highway.
This Uganda National Park is characterized by rolling savannah, acacia woodlands, seasonal wetlands, and several lakes, with Lake Mburo being the largest.
Lake Mburo National Park is known for species not commonly found in other Ugandan parks, including zebras, impalas, elands, topis, and giraffes, along with buffaloes and a variety of antelope species.
Beginning in Kampala, the tour introduces travelers to Uganda’s diverse ecosystems, from tropical rainforests rich in primates to open savannahs, crater lakes, and tranquil wetlands.
The safari highlights include chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest, extensive game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park, a scenic boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, and immersive experiences such as walking safaris and boat rides in Lake Mburo National Park.
This itinerary is ideal for travelers seeking a well-paced wildlife and nature experience combined with scenic landscapes and varied activities.
