Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival, transfer to Kampala
Most overseas holiday guests arrive in Uganda by air, landing at Entebbe International Airport. The drive to/from Entebbe/Kampala City is approximately 45 minutes. We can organize ground transfers to and from the Entebbe airport for any size group.
Upon confirmation of your flight details, we will offer 'airport welcome' service at the Entebbe International airport to help you arrive in time following long hours of travel and a good start for the 8-days chimps, gorillas and lions safari tour in Uganda tour the following morning.
For easy recognition, your driver will be required to carry a placard with both your names. Our driver guide will be there to greet you or your group and help you with luggage to the shuttle followed by a drive to our hotel in Kampala or hotel in Entebbe.
Day One
Begin with a scenic ride through trading centers, villages, swamps and forests to Kibale Forest
(5 hour journey). After lunch, embark on Chimpanzee tracking.
Day Two
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (3 hours). Lunch break and then later an evening game-drive for a chance to catch glimpse of the some of the amazing wildlife species.
Day Three
Early morning game-drive to explore the diversity of Uganda’s second largest National Park as the sun rises. Lunch break. Afternoon boat-ride on the famous Kazinga channel.
Day Four
This early morning, take breakfast and drive to Kyambura Gorge for an opportunity to track Chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Packed Lunch and then transfer to Bwindi Forest via the Ishasha section of Queen Elizabeth National Park (5 hours).
Day Five
Sacrifice morning sleep to attend briefing by the Ranger guide; don’t forget your packed lunch, water and a walking stick! Follow the Ranger guide into the forest sanctuary to trek the Gorillas.
Day Six
Today, enjoy last moments in the Land of the Mountain Gorillas before transferring to Lake Mburo National Park (6 hours). Take an afternoon boat cruise on the lake and an evening game-drive.
Day Seven
Morning guided safari walk, breakfast and en-route game-drive as you exit the park. Stop for lunch on the way back to Kampala.
