Absa KH3-7 Hills Run in Kampala, Uganda

The Absa KH3-7 Hills Run is more than just a race, it’s a celebration of community, resilience, and determination. Held annually in Kampala, Uganda, this event has quickly become a highlight on the city’s calendar, drawing participants from all walks of life to lace up their running shoes and take on the challenge of Kampala’s iconic seven hills.

The Absa KH3-7 Hills Run is not just about physical endurance, it’s about making a difference. The event raises funds to break down barriers to girls’ education, addressing issues such as poverty, early marriage, teenage pregnancy, and menstrual hygiene. The funds collected are distributed across several organizations, including the Joshua Cheptegei Foundation, Baylor College’s DREAMS program, Amref Health Africa, and World Vision, all working towards improving the lives of young girls in Uganda.

The Absa team was warmly received at the Hariss International LTD headquarters in Kawempe Tula by Chief Financial Officer, Eunice Waweru, Chief Commercial Officer, Mahdi Mshaimesh, and Head of Marketing, Samuel Hooper, who reaffirmed their commitment to supporting health, wellness, and education for young girls in Uganda

This collaboration not only motivates participants but also provides Ugandan athletes with an international platform to showcase their talent.
