Bar Aviation Uganda, a Uganda based Aviation Company offering daily domestic scheduled flights and private charters, announced will launch daily scheduled flights to Uganda safari parks and tourist attractions from 01 February 2022.
The launch of daily, scheduled domestic flights to numerous National Park locations in Uganda and three weekly flights to Arua City, north of the East African country was attended by Uganda travel and tour operators, Uganda Tourism Board officials, travel writers and the media at BAR Aviation Uganda custom-built facility at Kajjansi Airfield .
Speaking at the cocktail launch BAR Aviation Country Manager, Anthony Njoroge, said
BAR Aviation will have daily scheduled flights to Uganda National Parks airfields/airports (Chobe, Bugungu, Pakwach, Pakuba, Mweya, Kasese, Semuliki, Kihihi, Kisoro) from Entebbe International Airport.
Prices have not been communicated yet but tourism, travel and hospitality industry operators say they are likely to be “very competitive.”
Also announced at the launch was BAR Aviation Uganda’s partnership with Uganda Airlines.
The partnership will allow international tourists flying to Uganda on Uganda Airlines flights book connecting domestic safari flights with BAR Aviation Uganda all way to the 10 Uganda Safari Parks when booking their international travel.

Not everyone wants to travel in a safari vehicle, day after a day. For safari visitors who have the money to spend but little time, domestic flights are very convenient.
Most people will continue to use vehicles. Having more domestic flight providers means that Uganda will be able to compete more with popular safari destinations in the East Africa region like Kenya and Tanzania.
Visitors who go on safari in Uganda will still need vehicles and drivers for safari game drives and a lot more!

BAR Aviation Uganda Domestic Flight Schedule
BAR Aviation flights to Arua from Kajjansi Airfield will depart every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Kajjansi’s proximity to Kampala City, Uganda capital, is ideal for the capital’s business travellers.
BAR Aviation’s fleet comprise small planes (max. 12 passengers) and helicopters for scheduled flights, charters and ‘medevac’ medical emergencies.
BAR also have a flight training academy.
