When the opportunity to purchase this land came about, the Nile wasn’t even close to it. It was in fact about 500 meters further out from the banks.
Some careful research, a leap of faith, some amazing plans and a lot of hard work has brought this dream into being. As the waters rose, so did the excitement

The River Lodge Jinja Respects The Environment and The Local Community, and from concept to Implementation our intentions have remained firm.
The approach is to have a minimal impact on the environment and being respectful of those who neighbor us, both on and off the property.
The native flora & fauna on the 9.9 acres were preserved with all mature indigenous trees protected
