This park, also known as Kabalega Lodge Falls National Park, is located in northwestern Uganda.It was established in 1952 and is Uganda's largest wildlife protected area spanning a total area of 3,840 square kilometers.
It encompasses a large swath of African savannah, sliced in half by the Nile River, creating some of the most spectacular waterfalls in Africa; the Nile waters explode through a narrow gorge and cascades down to become a placid river whose banks are thronged with elephant, hippos and crocodiles, waterbucks and buffaloes.
The vegetation of Murchison Falls National Park is characterized by savannah, riparian forest, and woodland. Wildlife includes lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hartebeests, oribis, Uganda kobs, chimpanzees, and more than 450 bird species including the magnificent shoebill stork.

The Single Safari Cabin is designed to give you your own little enclave of paradise; it is both near to, and slightly remote, from the shared areas to enable true solitude but not lonesomeness.
