Your guide from Responsible Tourism Company will meet you at your Kampala hotel and begin your city exploration. (Afternoon departures available for half-day option.)

Visit the sacred Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, one of Africa’s most important Christian pilgrimage sites.

This is where 22 Catholic martyrs were executed in 1886 during the reign of Kabaka Mwanga II.

The shrine attracts thousands of pilgrims annually and stands as a symbol of faith and resilience.

1. Bahá’i Temple (Mashriqu’l-Adhkár)

Explore the peaceful Baháʼí Temple located on Kikaya Hill. Set on 8.5 hectares of beautifully maintained gardens, it is the only Bahá’i House of Worship in Sub-Saharan Africa and offers panoramic views of Kampala.

Experience local life at Owino Market, Kampala’s largest open-air market. Browse second-hand clothing, fabrics, crafts, fresh produce, electronics, and traditional medicines. Skilled tailors can custom-make garments from your chosen fabric.
