Living Waters Resort Jinja is located at the Source of the Nile at the point where the Nile River emerges from Lake Victoria, the second largest freshwater lake in the world.

The property includes botanical gardens with a plethora of birds and tropical plants. Established in 2010 as a Prayer and Healing center and a leisure garden, Living Waters Resort has grown to now include luxury camping accommodation.

The site maintains a biblical ethos of prayer, hospitality and transformational enterprise.
It believes in the transformation of Uganda and that this is called to influence the community for good and work towards the elimination of systemic poverty.

In the evening the pathways are lit with lanterns and our security staff will be happy to guide you from the banquet hall to your accommodation, should you require an escort. Please do not feed the monkey as they can become a nuisance

The clean water we source from our 20 meter deep borehole, which is UV filtered 24/7 as an additional precaution.

Source of the Nile - Speke Monument- Historic Site The authentic, original Source of the Nile Site, where the British Explorer Speke first discovered the River Nile (of course the Africans knew there was a river, but anyway..). Stand where he stood, take a picture with the monument, go for boatrides across the river nile and into Lake Victoria, see monkeys, monitor lizards, pythons (and maybe even an authentic African Witchdoctor). Bujagali Falls Bujagali Falls used to be a very popular site to see raids and waterfalls on the Nile. Unfortunately a dam constructed down stream has raised the level of the water to cover the falls. However there is an option to take boat tour for about 2 hours to travel a few Km up the river to the base of the Owens falls Dam where there are still some rapids.

Source of Nile River This source of the Nile River from Lake Victoria in Uganda is a must see when you are in Uganda. It is close to the town of Jinja and is a beautiful piece .
