MV Kalangala Ferry Revise schedules for holiday season – Buggala Island (SSESE ISLANDS)
The Nation Oil Distributors who operate the MV Kalangala ship with the Uganda Ministry of Works and Transport have announced revised Nakiwogo pier (Entebbe) – Lutoboka bay (Kalangala) ferry crossing schedule operating over Christmas and New Year Period.
According to the media release, due to registered increase in visitors and cargo traffic during the festive seasons, in a bid to serve the public better and ensure safety of passengers traveling between the mainland from Nakiwogo (Entebbe) and the Buggala island – the largest islands among the 84 Ssese Islands in Lake Victoria, Uganda, the Ministry of Works found it necessary to adjust the schedule of MV Kalangala – during the Christmas Holiday Season
Resort owners and travellers planning to visit the beautiful tropical islands using the MV Kalangala ship are advised to take note of the change of services between Entebbe pier and the beautiful Ssese Island group.
The new schedule for MV Kalangala Ferry beginning from Friday 20th December 2019 to Saturday 4th January 2020 as follows:-
Trips from Entebbe to Kalangala will be back to normal taking place daily, after the busy festive season break.
The MV Kalangala ferry leaves Entebbe daily at 2 p.m. and returns the next day at 11 a.m.
