MV Kalangala ferry plies Entebbe Nakiwogo – Kalangala route daily. Nation Oil Distributors Limited, the operator of the MV Ship, announced the restart of MV Kalangala operations on 01 October 2020. The ferry last served the route in February 2020

According to Mr. Musoke Sadala, Nation Oil Distributors Limited’s CEO “MV Kalangala shall now operate while observing COVID- 19 measures and guidelines. Passengers shall be subjected to thorough paramount temperature checks, wearing of masks, sanitizing and washing of hands as well as social distancing in the seating format.”

The MV Kalangala Ferry Service Schedule Post Lock Down
The travel or departure time from Lutoboka Bay in Kalangala is 8:00 AM , arriving at Nakiwogo pier in Entebbe 11:30 am (3hr 35min travel). MV Kalangala ferry return journey to from Nakiwogo pier at 2:00 pm to docking at Lutoboka bay on Buggala Island in Kalangala at 5:30 daily. MV Kalangala will service the Entebbe and Buggala Island in the Ssese Islands archipelagos daily.
