Itinerary
Day One
Begin your adventure with an early morning departure to Murchison Falls National Park and a visit to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary on the way. Lunch and proceed to view Magnificent Murchison Falls from the top.
Day Two
This morning, explore the exhilarating beauty of the park by taking a game-drive in the famous Nyamsika plateau located on the North bank of the park. Break for Lunch and then take a fabulous relaxing three hour boat-launch to the bottom of the Falls.
Day Three
After breakfast take a long ride over hills, down valleys, through villages and trading centers with lunch en-route to Kibale Forest (7 hours).
Day Four
Early morning chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest, arguably Africa’s largest surviving hardwood forest. The forest is home to 13 primate species, birds and many other forest animal species. Break for lunch and then take a Swamp Walk through the Bigodi Conservation Area for an occasion to explore the rich swamp flora and fauna.
Day Five
After breakfast, take a three hour picturesque ride to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Kasese area, famous for the great Rwenzori Mountains and the crater lakes. Take lunch and relax at the Lodge. Later, take a sunset game-drive to end the day in an adventurous style.
Day Six
An early morning game-drive with an informative Ranger guide who will search and point out wild animals as he/she leads you to the various habitats of game. Lunch at the Lodge and later in the afternoon take a boat-ride on Kazinga Channel to see birds, semi- and aquatic animals that rely on the channel for their livelihood.
Day Seven
Breakfast, ride to the Kyambura Section of the Queen Elizabeth and track Man’s closest relatives, the Chimpanzees, along with the many other animal and plant species that the area harbors. Packed Lunch and then transfer to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Later, utilize the network of park trails to explore more of the scenic beauty and rich wildlife of this remote parkland bordering the Congo.
Day Eight
Sunrise game-adventure, breakfast and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (2 hours).
Day Nine
Today is the long awaited day! Early morning preparations for the activity, pack lunch, attend briefing by the Ranger-guide, get hold of a walking stick and follow the Ranger to the Sanctuary. Maximum time allowed with the fascinating Gorillas is 1 hour.
Day Ten
Breakfast, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park (6 hours). Afternoon boat-cruise followed by a short evening game-drive.
Day Eleven
Guided by an armed Ranger, take an adventurous safari walk and then an en-route game-drive as you exit the park. Transfer to Kampala, with lunch en-route.
