• The Link Bus Services operates hourly buses from Kampala to Fort Portal. The journey takes about 4.5 hours.

Taxi:

• You can hire a taxi, which takes approximately the same time as the bus, around 4.5 hours.

Car:

• If you prefer driving, the distance is about 295 kilometers (183 miles), and it takes roughly 4.5 to 5 hours depending on traffic.

Plane:

• There are flights available from Entebbe International Airport to Kasese, followed by a bus or taxi ride to Fort Portal

FROM FORT PORTAL TO KARUGUTU TRADING CENTRE, UGANDA

By Road:

• The distance is approximately 28 km. You can drive or hire a taxi, which takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. The road is well-maintained and offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape.

Public Transport:

• You can take a local taxi or bus heading towards Bundibugyo and ask to be dropped off at Karugutu Trading Centre. This is a budget-friendly option and takes about the same time as driving.

FROM SEMULIKI NATIONAL PARK TO SEMULIKI GAME RESERVE, UGANDA

By Road:

• The reserve is approximately 55 km from the park. You can drive or hire a taxi, which takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. The route offers scenic views of the Rwenzori Mountains and the Rift Valley.

Public Transport:

• You can take a local taxi or bus from the park to Fort Portal, and then another taxi or bus to the reserve. This might take a bit longer but is a budget-friendly option.
