5 Days Lake Mburo & Mgahinga Gorilla National Parks Tour | Uganda Wildlife & Gorilla Safari
This 5 Days Lake Mburo and Mgahinga Gorilla National Parks tour offers an immersive journey through two of Uganda’s most remarkable protected areas.
Starting from Kampala, the tour introduces you to the scenic savannah landscapes of Lake Mburo National Park, known for its rich birdlife, zebras, hippos, and tranquil boat safaris.
The journey continues south-west to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, located in the far southwestern corner of Uganda, this national park is the country's smallest national park (33.7 sq. km) but carries immense weight in biodiversity.
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is famously known as the place where "Gold Meets Silver," as it is the only location in Uganda where you can find both the endangered Golden Monkey and the Mountain Gorilla.
The tourist attraction is part of the larger Virunga Conservation Area, bordering Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park and the DR Congo's Virunga National Park.
This safari tour combines wildlife viewing, primate tracking, scenic lakes, and meaningful cultural interaction with the Batwa community.
Carefully paced and well-structured, this safari is ideal for travelers seeking a balance of adventure, nature, and cultural discovery in Uganda.
