The event is scheduled for 2nd to 3rd February 2027 at the prestigious Speke Resort Munyonyo on the shores of Lake Victoria.

This groundbreaking summit aims to attract global investors, hotel developers, and tourism stakeholders to explore opportunities in eco-lodges, luxury wilderness camps, and community-based sustainable tourism projects across the Pearl of Africa.

Strategic Alignment with National Vision

The announcement aligns closely with H.E President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s vision for transforming Uganda into a competitive tourism powerhouse.

Malango, alongside the Uganda Tourism Board, secured the event and emphasized its potential to generate significant business deals and partnerships.

Key collaborators include the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Afreximbank, and the Tony Elumelu Foundation, signaling strong continental and international backing.

Why This Matters for Travelers and Investors

The summit will spotlight Uganda’s unique appeal:

  • World-renowned national parks
  • Pristine gorilla habitats
  • Diverse wildlife experiences
  • Growing network of eco-friendly lodges

For travel enthusiasts, this signals exciting developments in responsible tourism infrastructure, promising higher-quality, lower-impact experiences in destinations like Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, and Kidepo Valley National Park.
