The new coffee brand highlights Uganda’s fertile soils, ideal climate, biodiversity, and centuries-old coffee culture.

This new Uganda Coffee brand emphasizes quality, sustainability, and trust, values deeply embedded in Ugandan communities where coffee often symbolizes friendship and hospitality.

Visual elements draw inspiration from the national bird, the Crested Crane, coffee beans, and Uganda’s iconic colors, creating an authentic and memorable identity for international markets.

According to official figures, Uganda exported a remarkable 8.78 million 60kg bags of coffee worth US$2.38 billion in the 12 months leading up to April 2026.

As one of Africa’s leading coffee exporters, the country produces both high-quality Robusta and Arabica varieties, making it an increasingly attractive destination for discerning travelers.

For travel enthusiasts, this launch signals exciting new opportunities for coffee tourism in Uganda.

Visitors can explore scenic plantations in regions like Mt. Elgon and the Rwenzori Mountains, participate in hands-on harvesting and roasting experiences, and connect directly with farming communities.

The coffee initiative also strengthens Uganda’s appeal as a sustainable travel hotspot, where tourism supports local economies and environmental conservation.
