The Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) is actively promoting Uganda’s world-renowned wildlife and tourism offerings at the prestigious Africa’s Travel Indaba 2026, taking place at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre in Durban from May 11th-15th, 2026.

Led by Uganda Wildlife Authority Board Member Jane Bagonza, the Ugandan delegation is engaging key tourism stakeholders, tour operators, and travel professionals at a vibrant booth featuring stunning backdrops of mountain gorillas and chimpanzees.

The team is highlighting Uganda’s protected areas, including Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (home to over half the world’s remaining mountain gorillas), Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Kibale Forest National Park.

  • Diverse Wildlife Safaris: Big game viewing, birdwatching, and boat safaris on the Kazinga Channel.
  • Community & Conservation Focus: Sustainable tourism that directly supports local communities and wildlife protection.
